Rejected sketches for Illustrations.

When I am assigned an illustration I usually sketch three to four ideas for the client. Some help further an idea, some just to go in an opposite direction and some I do because the concept leads to something that may work down the road. Some of these get changed to become the finished piece but I like all of them as they are, since time and thought was given to it. Here are a bunch of recent sketches that were not chosen but I like none the less.

Candy Buffet for Graduation Event

This past weekend our studio catered a graduation event that included one of our custom themed candy buffets. Green and white candy along with some custom designed bags and "Candy Yearbooks" were included along with a chocolate fountain and food for fifty guests. Black Jack Driveway Sealer DO NOT PURCHASE

Black Jack Driveway Sealer purchased in October of this year and two months later is falling off. Applied as per instructions the company will not honor their warranty claiming that although it was applied at the correct temp. the night time temp was lower. Lowes sales reps had stated there would be no problem applying at that time of year. In fact they sold many tubs that day to weekend installers like myself. There is nothing about a lower temp after the drying period on the information label and the weather was dry. Avoid this product.
